The Eee pc runs the Sims 2 and expansions better than I thought. The Sims Life Stories load times are twice as fast though. Try Daemon Tools. You’d need another computer with a dvd/cd drive and an external storage device (Flash drive or SD card.) To rip and transfer the cd ISO. Trying this myself on my Acer.
that laptop is rubbish a SONY vaio is the most AWESOME laptop of all time. I have one and it runs all the expansions smooooothley.

Is there any way to install sims 2 without the external drive? I have this netbook. And i have the disks. But not external drive =/
yes you need to buy a drive for most maybe even all Netbooks. and the sims 3… I’m not too sure really. If you get the RAM upgrade to 2GB and turn most of the setting to low then i recon you could play it alright
How would u play games with tht if it haz no dvd insert thinggy?
Hm, on the new ones, yea (new Intel integrated graphics with better CPU, or the old CPU with the new nVidia ION graphics).
An external drive? Well, if you have CD/DVDs, than … eh, nea – just download it from the internet and you won’t need and DVDs!
so if i bought the eee netbook…and i bought the pc game sims….do i have to but an external drive???and if yes…than i culd just put in the game and play it???

please, someone tell me:I want to buy a netbook and I want to install sims 2(and all expansion packs) and sims 3. I will have to buy an external optical drive,right?What else will i have to buy then, so that I could play those games?
